Trek Factory Racing Rides Crankbrothers!

Trek Factory Racing Rides Crankbrothers!

For 2019 and beyond, Crankbrothers is excited to be partnering with the multi-talented Trek Factory Racing team! Crankbrothers will be the official pedal supplier of the Downhill, Enduro, and XC squads as they each take on the premier championships of their respective disciplines. Crankbrothers is looking forward to kicking off the season in partnership with Trek Factory Racing and is eagerly counting down the days until the races get under way.

The Trek XC squad will be spearheaded by the powerful duo of Emily Batty and Jolanda Neff. New to the team and defending UCI World Cup Champion, Neff will be eager to come out all guns blazing in Albstadt at World Cup #1.

Joining Batty and Neff will be Anton Cooper, Ellen Noble, and Evie Richards. Coming within just inches of winning a World Cup round last year, Cooper will be one to watch in 2019! The XC squad will use a mix of our Eggbeater and Candy 11 pedals to contest the UCI XCO World Cup Championship.

For 2019, Trek have brought their DH race program in house and have quite the roster to kick off this new direction! American Charlie Harrison rejoins Trek after a few years away. Harrison has taken big steps over the last few seasons and will be vying for top 10 finishes in the Elite ranks all year long! Joining Harrison from North America is Ethan Shandro, who will be taking on the Junior ranks in 2019 and 2020, aiming to turn some heads in what is becoming a more and more competitive category. Ethan is the son of free ride pioneer Andrew Shandro and even made it into MTB film, Seasons, before turning 5 years old!

Harrison and Shandro will be joined by two of the fastest DH racers the UK has to offer; Reece Wilson and Kade Edwards. After his first career podium in front of a home crowd in Fort William last season, Wilson will be chasing big goals coming into Maribor in just over a month's time. All four will be onboard our Mallet DH pedal and we are excited to continue the legacy of the product in partnership with Trek's newest recruits.

Last not but not least, Trek Factory Racing's Enduro squad will be comprised of the Scottish duo of Katy Winton and Ruaridh Cunningham, along with Chilean Pedro Burns. New to EWS last year after an impressive DH career, Cunningham looks to build on what he learnt last year and begin to chase the podium spots. The Enduro squad will rely on our Mallet E pedal throughout the World Enduro Championship.

The Enduro squad will kick off their Enduro World Series campaign tomorrow in Rotorua, New Zealand. To keep up with all things Trek Factory Racing, check out their new site here.
