After many leg-crushing climbs and boneshaking descents on our home trails of Laguna Beach, CA (they’re fun though, honestly!) we started to ponder what a new flat pedal should be Built For. Fresher legs and greater stability across those damn bumps would be nice. Whilst we didn’t quite manage to squeeze a motor into these ones, we did give it our best shot to create a flat pedal focused on our needs, hopes and desires: more stability, comfort, and protection. We’ve found the larger platform provides more support for your feet, improving balance and comfort on the descent, and reducing arch fatigue on the climbs. Additionally, we added a replaceable outer plastic bash guard, giving you the chance to give your pedals a freshen up from time and time, and reducing the chance of a pedal strike rock impact disaster incident.
Conclusion: size matters.
