EWS #5: The streak continues!

EWS #5: The streak continues!

An Italian hillside full of perceived obstacles provided no halt to a season of absolute dominance.

Wide-open alpine meadows, steep and technical trails, dust bowls and thunderstorms; La Thuile EWS had it all.

The Italian stages of La Thuile were some of the most challenging to date; Ines Thoma looked comfortable all weekend, finishing in 3rd.

5 EWS wins a row coupled with multiple World Cup DH podiums; 2018 is the year of Cecile Ravanel.

After a DNF at the last round Joe Barnes was back on form in Italy, demonstrating his immense level of bike skill and finishing in a solid 16th place.

Dim Tordo on the gas through the trees; 12th place on the day and helping Canyon Factory Racing stay on top in the team standings.

Consistency is paying dividends through 2018 for Florian Nicolai; 9th place in La Thuile and now 5th place overall.

Part-time EWS racing looks to be going well for Yoann Barelli; 8th place for the happiest man in Enduro.

Back on form after injury, Jesse Melamed left it all out there in La Thuille, finishing an impressive 4th place. Next stop, Whistler..

Just 13 seconds back after 60 minutes of racing, Martin Maes is inching closer to another EWS win. 2nd place for the GT Factory Racing rider in La Thuile.
