“A balanced world is a better world. How can you help forge a more gender - balanced world? Celebrate women's achievement.”

To celebrate International Women's Day and with that, women's achievement, we took a look back at some of our favorite performances from our top female athletes during the 2018 racing season.

Myriam Nicole probably wasn't the favorite for the win coming into the 2018 season, but that didn't matter to her.. Myriam took to the challenging rocky track of Croatia quickly, capturing an opening round win and taking the early points lead.

After an up and down start to the 2018 season Tahnee Seagrave came into Val Di Sole all guns blazing, capturing an impressive win on one of the most challenging tracks the World Cup tour has ever seen.

After winning the World Cup Championship just a few weeks prior, Rachel Atherton arrived at last year's World Championships with one goal: to win. A clean and perfect run landed her a historic 5th Elite World Championship, pushing her further into the record books.

With Myriam, Tahnee, Rachel, and a whole host of other fast female racers raring to go in 2019, we can't wait to see how the season unfolds at UCI DH World Cup #1, in Maribor, Slovenia, in just over a month's time.
