"I have used Crankbrothers' pedals for years. (Probably decades as I'm an ol' guy) It's great that they offer a reasonably priced rebuild kit to refresh the pedals. It's obvious that the pedal design included a customer-friendly rebuild process for any home mechanic. My pedals show some pretty good rock hits from those Hurricane Utah trips and I like the patina! With the rebuild kit, i can have like new pedals and keep the patina. As an FYI, CB's new shoe line is great."

"J'ai acheté ce kit d'origine chez un fournisseur Web pour le prix indiqué livraison incluse. Extraire les roulements et bagues usées est une vrai galère. Le remontage est plus facile. La documentation livrée avec le kit se résume à un QR code qui permet seulement de télécharger une vue éclatée des pédales; Je n'ai trouvé aucune explication sérieuse et à jour. Je me suis basé sur le démontage pour faire la réparation. Ceci n’enlève rien à la praticité des pédales, même quand on roule dans la boue. Elles étaient garantie 5 ans; je les ai usée en 5 ans et 6 mois, en roulant en moyenne 60 km hebdomadaire toute l'année ! J'en attendais plus d'une marque réputée "premium""

essential! dont forget to refresh!

"love it! refreshed my broken Stamp 2 (gen 1) and it's like new plus with all the 'patina'! Learned the wrong way as I didnt take care of my stamp 2 (with easily +2k miles on them!): during a multi day trip the pedal fell of the spindle and how much would love to had had a kit like this with me! p. s. pls take care of your pedals AT HOME so you dont have to carry this super light, essential kit."

Trying to use this kit with Candy 3 pedals, but there’s a snap ring holding the bushing in. What’s the recommended way to remove this?

Is this refresh kit compatible with the Candy 1 pedals? If not, does Crankbrothers sell a kit that is?
