Reviews

Get setup for my XC

"Get setup for my XC mtb! Quick butter clip in for the climbs and easy exit for the decents on the flat side. And a perfect color match with the SC Blur! Keep making rad products."

Love the versatility of being

"Love the versatility of being able to clip in or just ride casually. The grip is good and shipping was fast. Definitely happy with my purchase!"

Different. I thought there wasn't

"Different. I thought there wasn't going to be a less solid feel with the clip ins. But it's great."

Chris L. (5/5)

After years of the small

"After years of the small eggbeaters on road and mountain bikes I moved to an area with much rockier technical trails. These pedals offer a great flat platform for the rocky roads as well as the clips to get home. They work really well with the crankbrothers mallet shoe. A great all around pedal."

Andrew B. (5/5)

Perfect for what I needed…

"Perfect for what I needed… if I am going for a casual ride along the coast I can just wear my sandals on the non-clip side and have plenty of support under foot, and if I’m going on a fitness ride I can wear my cycling shoes with the clip-side of the pedal. It’s the best of both worlds and the are priced right so they didn’t break the bank."

I’m loving my new Double

"I’m loving my new Double Shot 2! Clipping in and out is smooth and I glued to the bike. It’s everything I needed."

Jacob E. (5/5)

"Quick on shipping. Product looks legit."

Joel (5/5)

Not for serious trail rides

"A nice pedal, and mechanically sound, but not the best option for true trail rides. I would have really preferred the double side clip on some more technical sections of trail."

Matt (3/5)

Work well on my gravel

"Work well on my gravel bike."

Q&A

What is the difference between the Double Shot 1's and Double Shot 2's?
Hi Glenn, thanks for your question. The only difference between DS1 and DS2 is the pedal body material. The DS1 is made from a composite plastic, whereas the DS2 is made from aluminum. This material difference results in the DS1 being about 60 grams lighter, though they are less durable, and will be more susceptible to damage from rock and root strikes. For street usage, the higher susceptibility should not be a concern. Cheers, Crankbrothers Rider Support
