Front-end Compliance

Synthesis DH Carbon front rims feature a bespoke rim profile and carbon layup to provide lateral and vertical compliance characteristics where you need it most. Plow through rock gardens and root sections with increased directional control and reduced unwanted torsional feedback through the handlebars. And, a 31.5mm internal width allows for a large tire contact patch, resulting in more grip and confidence on the track.

Rear-end Stability

Synthesis DH Carbon rear rims feature a reinforced rim profile and carbon layup to provide additional stiffness and stability when loaded hard into corners, and also results in a robust wheel with superior impact resistance. A 31.5mm internal width allows for a large contact patch on the rear tire resulting in increased braking performance, and also provides extra tire sidewall support under load.

New Ratchet Drive Hub

Our entry point to Synthesis carbon wheels feature our new Ratchet Drive hubs, a low-drag hub design with improved engagement and durability in mind. From the factory, our Ratchet Drive hubs feature 36t ratchet rings resulting in 10° engagement, and all of our Ratchet Drive hubs can be upgraded with our 54t ratchet kit for an even quicker 6.6° engagement. A machined alloy hub shell and alloy axle help reduce system weight without sacrificing strength, while sealed cartridge bearings keep things rolling smoothly. Finally, a gloss-black anodization process with laser-etched Crankbrothers icons keep things classy.
