A unique 360° ankle wrap helps seal out water where most shoes fail, while a waterproof membrane blocks the elements without overheating; inside, low-absorption materials shed moisture. With a TPU-reinforced toe box for added protection, reflective details for increased visibility in low-light conditions, and a Speed Lace closure for quick adjustments, the Seal shoes are built to keep you comfortable and confident through wet-weather rides. 

Underfoot, a fiber-reinforced shank delivers efficient power transfer, and a mid-friction compound provides smooth entry and exit, as well as long-lasting durability. Meanwhile, a moderately flexible midsole absorbs impacts and reduces vibration for greater trail comfort, while the MATCH Outsole provides an optimized pedal interface, confident traction on and off the bike, excellent walkability, and compatibility with both Crankbrothers and SPD clip-in systems. For added confidence in wet conditions, a specialized HYDRO compound is strategically placed at the toe and heel to enhance grip while hiking on slippery surfaces. 

Cleats are not included with Mallet Trail Speed Lace Seal. Remember to add a fresh set for your clip-in system of choice!

"The Mallet Trail Speed Lace Vent comes with all the bells and whistles that Crank Brothers’ has to offer for those seeking an efficient pedaling shoe. It is breathable, stiff, comfortable, durable, and reliable in every sense of the word. The only piece of feedback I can give is to encourage Crank Brothers to offer the shoe in a wide as it is a fairly narrow shoe. The Match System is sooo locked in and I feel confident on any technical terrain. I’ve pedaled hundreds of miles in these shoes on mountain and gravel. I can’t recommend these enough."
