FAQs

The Stamp 0 is made for new riders getting into mountain biking, anyone looking to have fun on the pumptrack or dirt jumps, and everyday commuters who want a reliable flat pedal.

We recommend size Small for US 9.5 / EU 43 and below, and size Large for US 10 / EU 43.5 and above.

Check out our pedal installation video at this link.

For regular maintenance, a simple wipe-down of the internal components and a fresh coat of grease is recommended. For a complete overhaul and replacement of the internal components, including bearings and seals, check out our Stamp 1 Gen 2 instructions here which follows a similar process, without the presence of the D-shaped nuts.

We recommend a heavy-duty bike-specific grease or any marine-grade grease, a 2.5mm metric hex wrench, a Flat-head screwdriver, plus our Stamp 0-specific Refresh Kit.

Maintenance schedules can vary greatly depending on riding conditions and mileage, but as a general rule of thumb, we recommend a seasonal re-grease of the internal components to keep things running smoothly. For most riders, a service interval of around 50-75 hours for a simple clean and re-grease works well, and we offer a refresh kit with new internal components for when it's time for a full rebuild.

These pedals have just the

"These pedals have just the perfect amount of grip. I want to be able to move my foot around to find "just the right spot" and i can't seem to do that as easily on pedals with pins. Also, because my foot is small-ish, i appreciate having the option of purchasing a smaller pedal."

Fantastic pedal for a commuter

"Fantastic pedal for a commuter E-bike for someone not yet comfortable with clipless. Once I put my foot down, it doesn't move. I don't have to worry about repositioning my foot all the time. I can focus and enjoy the ride."

Super supportive and grippy pedal!

"Super supportive and grippy pedal! Shoes feel secure and steady while riding, both standing and sitting. Wearing a size 12 US (11 UK, 45 EU) these keep your foot centered both width and lengthwise. Large pedals look huge in the box but once mounted on the bike that image goes away."

It's just a pedal. Not

"It's just a pedal. Not sure what the hype is about pedals. The box they came in though, was truly a work of art and engineering!"

Mark P. (5/5)

Nicely packaged and easy to

"Nicely packaged and easy to install. The pedals are really grippy with Vans skate shoes."

Marc G. (5/5)

"Like the platform size and the less aggressive pins!!! THE COLOR IS AMAZING"

Transitioning from Power Grip Pedals,

"Transitioning from Power Grip Pedals, the one with a strap to keep your foot in. The strap was causing some foot numbness on longer rides so I was looking for flat pedals. I did not want something too big and was not interested in a pedal with metal pins. These fit the bill perfectly, bigger than what I was using and light too. Now I just have to get used to ridding strapless."

I tested Stamp 0 this

"I tested Stamp 0 this morning on my easy but single track 25km local trails while riding 2025 Turbo Levo SL Comp Carbon (totally without power assistance). For bike shoes I used Shimano sandals. The weather was hot & dry. Overall pedals performed better than I expected. They were providing very steady, well balanced support for my sandals. Not even once my feet slipped off them. In fact they performed better than when I tried the same sandals with Crankbrothers Double Shot pedals last year in Moab. I will ride them next on other of my bikes wearing proper 5/10 type shoes."

The new Stamp 0 Large

"The new Stamp 0 Large does everything I need a pedal to do. I now have a pair on both my road bike and mountain bike. They are high quality wide pedals for my size 13. 5 US feet. No more fiddling to get into or slo-motion crashes to get out of clip-less. No more bloody legs from flats with metal pins. I can grab-and-go with either bike wearing any shoes. And, the molded composite pin design keeps me more than adequately glued to the pedals. Could not ask for anything better. Thank you CrankBros. for being the first to produce a WIDE all composite flat pedal ! Very much appreciated ! (BTW - I'm 73 years old and figure I've now loved bikes and riding for at least 68 years. ) Cheers !"

"I just finished my second ride with these pedals , I’ll be a life long crankbros supporter and I’ll definitely be upgrading my bikes with more products!!!"
