Warranty Policy

Crankbrothers offers a manufacturer’s warranty to the original retail purchaser. This warranty covers specifically:

Who: Crankbrothers manufacturer’s warranty is valid only to the original owner of Crankbrothers products purchased from an authorized Crankbrothers dealer. It is honored as long as the original purchaser retains ownership of the Crankbrothers product and proof of purchase is provided. This manufacturer’s warranty is not transferable.
What: Crankbrothers product to be free of material and or workmanship defects for a specified period. This covers product failure due to faulty factory assembly (not to be confused with installation), construction and/or production of Crankbrothers products.

1. Are there any limitations or exclusions on your warranties?

In general Crankbrothers warranty does not cover:
- Product that has been subjected to misuse, lack of proper maintenance or neglect, damage due to a crash, shipping damage, improper installation, abnormal operation or handling, and fire or chemical intrusion.
- Product that has been damaged due to repair, alteration or modification by anyone other than an authorized Crankbrothers Service Center.
- Product whose serial numbers and/or date codes have been removed, altered or rendered illegible.
- Product returned without valid proof of purchase or sales receipt showing original purchase date and product description.
- Product purchased used, second hand, or from any non-authorized Crankbrothers retailer or distributor
- Labor charges for service performed by a source other than an authorized Crankbrothers Service Center

2. What are the warranty periods on your products?
Depends on the product line and level. Please see our product detail pages for warranty periods. Warranty durations and detail may differ by country. Please contact your place of purchase for more information

3. What does Crankbrothers do if my product fails?
All product sent to Crankbrothers will be repaired or replaced at Crankbrothers discretion in a timely manner. Crankbrothers may not be able to repair or replace the items with the same color, but will always use parts of equal or greater value. No refunds are offered by Crankbrothers

4. How do I make a warranty or service claim?
For Product purchased in the USA, please obtain an RA # on our website. For all other countries, please contact your original place of purchase or contact Info@crankbrothers.com
