Takes a Beating

"One of the finer factory built wheels out there. I have beat the living stuff out of this wheel on my enduro bike for the last year and it keeps on ticking. It shows multiple rock strikes but has remained true, tensions are still balanced, and bearings are running as smooth as the day I got them. Steering precision is solid without being overly harsh. Killer rear wheel for the money."

Definitely a great budget option for Boost

"Bought the Synthesis wheelset since they were the only one's in 27.5 for the Marin San Quentin 2, was able to get the tires set up much easier than the wheelset that came on the bike, have more control when riding, and was definitely worth the money. My only complaints are low points of engagement, and stuck with 6-bolt instead of given center lock option."

"Great value wheel for upgraded strength. I destroy back wheels. I’m 200lbs and hammer my bikes. I have this wheel on my 2020 YT Capra and it is holding up much better than the previous DTSwiss alloy 28 spoke wheel. I recommend this if you are on a budget and want durability over light weight."

Cornering like never before

"This rear wheel is seriously stiff. I was coming from some stock alloy Stans flow D’s and this was night and day. Cornering felt like I could feel and pump anything with a lip and its got the strength to withstand casing and sending plenty of jumps. I’m definitely looking at the carbon version in the future when I get either the money or the desire to get new wheels."
