How do I use my Crank Brothers pump?
Push the head onto your valve (presta or shrader). Twist the collar 1/4 turn towards the valve after you have pushed the head on. Twisting the collar after putting it on the valve does two things: it makes the air come out of the correct side (if it comes out of the wrong side then you need to twist it the other way) and it locks the head onto the valve. To remove the pump head after pumping, twist the gray collar back 1/4 turn before pulling it off.
