Tubeless?
All crankbrothers wheels are inherently tubeless. You do not need to do anything to the rim.
6 bolt or Center Lock?
crankbrothers hubs are designed to use the 6-bolt mounting system for brake discs.
Freehub is sticky?
If you are having trouble with the freehub sticking and causing chain slack during freewheeling; check the freehub seal. If it is not fully seated into the hub shell, it can cause binding. If in doubt, go along the outer diameter of the seal and push it down into the hub shell. It will snap into the grove if it isn’t already in place. If it is already in place, this procedure will not harm anything.
Tools?
All crankbrothers wheels use a standard 3.2mm spoke wrench (typically color coded black) for truing. No other tools are needed for basic maintenance.
Taking the end caps off
The end caps are a press fit and simply pull off and press on. Note: it is important to remove the small axle o-ring before pulling off the freehub body.
Bearings
crankbrothers wheels use fully sealed cartridge bearings pressed into the hubshell. There is no need for adjustment. If the bearings require replacing, take you wheel to an authorized dealer where they can use the appropriate bearing puller and press tools. This will prevent any damage to the hub or bearings during removal and installation.
Compatibility
All crankbrothers wheels are compatible with Shimano and SRAM style 9-speed cassettes.
